In my applications the Default value of a SQL parameter is rarely a value (especially when it comes to dates), it is generally a function that returns a value. e.g. A screen generally defaults to the logged on user, therefore I call a function to return a userID in the default value, however if I want to run the SQL test I have to remove the function enter in a value and perform the test and have been caught twice where the test values not the default values have slipped into production (not good).
I know I could do this in the before select event but it is cleaner in the builder.
