PeterR / Yes Software.
According to the Prior Forum Poll CCS Language Perference was
Perl....................................3.6% (330)
PHP ..................................37.9% (3502)
ASP/VBScript ...................25.5% (2351)
JSP ....................................20.8% (1920)
ColdFusion ......................6.8% (629)
C# .......................................3.6% (335)
Other....................................1.8% (169)
Yet when we look at the Codecharge Studio incident stats on this forum we get
Perl....................................0.00%0)
PHP....................................38.10% (64)
ASP....................................46.43% (78)
Java....................................5.95% (10)
ColdFusion.......................0.60% (1)
.NET....................................8.93% (15)
Are these stats in anyway reflective of CCS's usage?

In that case we should all move to Perl.

Not sure what to tell you Edd. You see as much as we see here.
Possibly ColdFusion and Perl users are the smartest and don't have any questions to post on the forums?
Or maybe ASP & PHP users are most communicative?
One conclusion for me though is that not many CC/CCS users use the forums.

I don't post often, but I do read the forums each day using the news reader
in outlook express. I also use the forums search capability as my first
level of support when trying to figure out how to do thing in CCS.

Peter,

I know this could be sensitive information - but I have always believed Codecharge is the best kept secret in Web Development - what is the size of Codecharge's userbase?

Well, how can it not be the best kept secret if all of you remove the text "generated with CodeCharge" and keep it secret?
The information about our user base is confidential, however the proof that not many CC/CCS users use these forums can be obtained by comparing the CC-related Web traffic to our Forum traffic.
As usually, here go the Google links: http://www.google.com/search?q=codecharge http://www.google.com/search?q=codecharge+site%3Acodecharge.com http://www.google.com/search?q=codecharge+site%3Agotocode.com http://www.google.com/search?q=codecharge+site%3Aforums.codecharge.com http://www.google.com/search?q=codecharge+site%3A.com
The above links should show that the number of Forum + GotoCode postings is quite small when compared to various CodeCharge-related information and Websites elsewhere. Hey, maybe CodeCharge isn't such a secret after all?
