I am having trouble with Cold Fusion and Oracle
I can connect, run, execute the pages just fine using ASP
I can see the tables in code charge(ASP&CFM) just fine, the connection
works!
But when executing the Cold Fusion code it crashes with the following error:
Oracle Error Code = 12560
ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
SQL = "select M.COG as M_COG, M.FSC as M_FSC, M.ORD_POLICY as M_ORD_POLICY,
M.PART as M_PART, M.PLANNER as M_PLANNER, M.PO as M_PO, M.PRIORITY as
M_PRIORITY, M.PROJECT as M_PROJECT, M.QTY_ONHAND as M_QTY_ONHAND, M.QTY_REQD
as M_QTY_REQD, M.REMARKS as M_REMARKS, M.SHOP as M_SHOP, M.TARIFF_CODE as
M_TARIFF_CODE, M.UM as M_UM, M.VDESC as M_VDESC, M.WO as M_WO from MIR_VW M"
Data Source = "APPDEV.WORLD"
The error occurred while processing an element with a general identifier of
(CFQUERY), occupying document position (15:5) to (15:225) in the template
file E:\INETPUB\WWWROOT\MRPSHORTAGECFM\OPENRS.cfm.

Hi,
I think this is a connection problem. check your tnsnames.ora file and see
if your connectionstring is setup properly.
I dont know which OS you are working on but setting some env. variables also
could help.
