Hello,

I just purchased CC (waiting for serial #'s). I have a few questions about
capabilities...
1) Can I d/l studio & install it?
2) will CC convert platforms? i.e. Say if I designing an application in PHP
can CC convert my code into cgi or would I have to rewrite my code for
cgi...

Thanks in advance,

John Murtha

The ability of converting your code depends on whether you have self-written
code in your project.
If you can handle all the things you want without writing customized code,
it is possible to switch languages just within a few mouse-clicks.
Otherwise, you should rewrite the customized functions.

Yes, the Studio 1.0 is in Beta 3 stage. YesSoftware says that the Gold
version will be released on November 2002

CC can convert an aplication writen in a language to another language, but
the conversion will take in account only the code generated by CC, the
custom code that is inserted by you in the *old* application is not
converted, so you have to rewrite manualy your custom code.

There is no "Gold" version of CC Studio planned although we're discussing
potential Enterprise version.
