Hi All,
I am trying to write an after insert event code to manage inventory of items
in my products table.
All i want is for the quantity on hand column in the products table to be
updated when an item is ordered in the items_orders table. How do i go about
this?
regards,
charles

I suggest you use insert trigger in your database back-end... I think that's
the most simple & reliable method in your case.
What kind of database you use?

Hi ,
Thanks for your response.I use MS SQL but intend to also have the app
working with an access database, hence my reluctance to go the "trigger"
way.Is there a way to use trigger in access also?
Regards,
Charles
