Hi,
I am a newbie to Code Charge, actualy I am testing it, because today I
use Genexus. So far I am liking the Code Charge, but I didnīt find how to
create the database tables for my sites. In the examples that comes with
code charge, I saw how to connect to a already created database, and code
charge will list the tables. But how to point code charge to an empty
database, and make him create the tables?

Someon can help me with that?

Thank You
Marcus Milhomem

CCS does not manage the database configuration - that is up to you. If your
database is Access, it's reasonable to ship a blank one (having all tables
defined but empty) with the app. For others that allow scripting, your best
bet is to script out the database schema and turn it into a piece of code
appropriate for your projects (ASP, PHP, etc.), from there it's a simple
matter to put together a configuration/admin page for you app to initialize
the empty database.

Code Charge does not create the database tables for you. You have to create
the tables in your database application, then connect to it with Code
Charge.

Good luck,
Sean

Thank You for the fast reply,
I thought that as a Case Tool CodeCharge would also create the database as
genexus does. But Thanks a lot.

You can try using a freebie here:
http://www.2enetworx.com/dev/projects/tableeditor.asp

It is quite simple to setup and use.

That looks very cool. I much check this out. I hate copying entire Access
databases to make changes to them. Hopefully this will eliminate that
issue.
