Hello everyone,

Maybe this is not the right question or place to ask but...
I have evaluated CCS.
I think is a good tool but I'm a newbie at web dev. so I have no foundations
to judge a product.
I will like to hear some +- comments about CCS before making my final
decision.

Thanks,

FRamirez

Buy it. You won't find a more productive tool anywhere for web development.
There are things it won't do as well as other tools, but the same can be
said for anything.

I've used numerous other products and none has come close to providing me
with the results I get with CCS. And CCS is one of the least espensive
alternatives.

Thanks Don,

I can see you are one of the more active guys on the forum with plenty of
help replies so coming from you it is a good advice.

If you want to develop a static site (no db site) there are many good
solutions on the web, even free. As soon as you have a DB under your site,
CodeCharge is the best I've found so far, even compared with more expensive
solutions.
Of course you have to spend some time at first trying to full understand CCS
components/way of working but after that you productive curve will grow
rapidly.
So, buy it.

Code Charge Studio is the best RAD utility for producing websites based on
content stored in databases.

I've made an evaluation for more than 25 web dev tools (from $0,- to
$7800,-)

The request for myself was to build an application without knowing this
product.

With CCS i 've build an application (crm alike) within a few days, where i
have tried to do this with other tools for several weeks without real
result - it was more an prototyp than an application.

But finally, at least you to like the product with the goodies and odd
things (like your wife ;-))

I mean the main concept, the programming strategy and productivity.

And this was the reason, why i decided FOR Codecharge.

My recommandation - Buy it!!

I developed my first database driven website with over 58,000 lines of php
code in less than 30 days. This included the learning curve for codecharge
1.0. I have since invested in learning codecharge studio. If you take the
time to learn this product, it will pay for itself many times over. Plus,
you have some excellent help here on the discussion group. I have found that
problems submitted via the codecharge support system are handled quickly.
This product provides the framework to quickly prototype with the ability to
separate the presentation from the business logic. Great product, great
support, great price. Go for it!

I get database feeds that I build websites for. It takes me
longer to clean up the data than it does to build the website
with CCS!

There is a learning curve, but once that is done CCS is a great
product.

Buy it!

Iīll say BUY IT!!!

It is the best tool in the market for web developing.
I have built more than 20 systems and my clients canīt believe the
development time and the well structured the code is.

Well... this is ofcourse only my opinion... But it seems other ppl are
having problems with it aswell...
My problem is, that nothing made with CCS works... AT ALL!

So id say: Stay the hell away from it!

But then again... Thats only a problem I have... Other ppl have other
problems... Like missing options... or missing db fields...

Problems with CCS ? Think the only problem is, ppl didnīt read the help and
the references,
so they didnīt know, how to use CCS correctly. I am working with CCS on an
massive
multiplayer online game, the project has at moment over 300 project files
and all working correct,
without any problems.

CCS is an great tool. Without it I never start such project. I was a bloody
newbie with
very little knowledgement of PHP, MYSQL and CCS, during the last two month I
learn
a lot and every day I learn more. The most important is, learn how
CCS works and what it can do for you, then you can understand, in which way
you can
get the best help by CCS.

Feel free to take an look on my Dev Server, create an player and look
inside. All the code
is done by CCS including some custom code.

regards
