I am using CodeCharge Studio on my laptop (512 meg memory and 1 Ghz
processor) with an Access database connection and it takes a very long time
just to display 3 records in a grid on a page. I noticed that the
IUSR_WEBUSER account shows high utilization in the task manager. Has anyone
seen this before and have any fixes?

Can you turn off your anti-virus program to see what effect that might have?
Some A/V will do "script blocking" which hangs IIS (or browsers) sometimes.

If that does not show an improvement, then do you have Listbox controls in
the Grid? That could be taking a long time to load the listboxes. When the
page is loaded, go to View Source in your browser and save the page. Now
check the size of the file. Is it really huge (many 10's of KB)?

Lastly, what does your URL contain: "localhost" or a hostname? If a
hostname, does the name resolve correctly and quickly if you "ping" it?
