Hi,
im a newbie in asp... the question is:
How can I restrict acces to a page base in a field.
example: i have a table "courses" and many field (math, computers, science,
etc) if the field "math" is set to true, then the user can access the math
manuals, else, th euser will not be alowed to access that page.

Perhaps you could combine the "bits" (fields) into a number (powers of two)
and use that number to represent groups in the CCS security scheme. For
example 1 = math, 2 = computers, 4 = science, 6 = science AND computers,
etc. If there are not too many courses, you can do it without too much
trouble.
I thought that groups were limited to numbers between 0 and 99, but after
checking the help I don't see that. I don't know where I got "99" as the
maximum and maybe that's not true. So be aware this might restrict the
number of field combinations you could create.
