I am working with PHP and mySQL and I have a page that is for making
orders which consist of many items. My problem is that I have an
"OrderTable" table which contains information about the order and an
"OrderItem" table that contains the items for each order. They are
linked by the "order_id" which is the primary key for the order table.
So basically each item in the "ItemTable" has an "order_num" which
corresponds to an "order_id." I know this is probably simple, but I
can't figure out how to add items to an "add order" page or to update
an item list on that page and how to make it only display items
associated with that order. Also, I am confused as to how to specify
a set order_num for each item. I basically want it to be the same the
auto-incremented primary of the order table, "order_id".

I know these are simple questions, but I am a student working on
campus and our lab just got a license of codecharge and I am puzzling
my way through it. I can't find reference that helps me figure this
out, so I am asking here!

Thanks for any help or assistance you can provide!

Best Regards,
Ravi
