Any news on the Master and Detail Wizard?

Hi all,
I've got a grid which displays all the data I want for a Master/Detail page.
The first three columns are repeating.
I'd like to pull the first three columns from the grid into a table
just above the grid as a static display only.
I've attempted the copy and paste but I'm a novice
and can't get the process sorted out.
Any help in creating a Master manually would be appreciated.
