Hi. I've been reading around and have seen several messages regarding
the CC to CCS tool that is forthcoming. Most noticeably, I have seen
the messages stating that the tool will not convert events. While this
is gonna be a big pain, I was wondering if it might not be possible to
at least dump the all of the events in one location (like a single
text file) that could at least give us something like the event, which
page and page element it's hooked into, etc... That might make the
conversion process a little easier.

Just a thought....

There is allready a tool supplied with CC2 that documents a site and shows
events.
It is located in CodeCharge\Tools\SiteInfo\CCSiteInfo.hta

Thanks, and I've already seen this tool. My point/suggestion is twofold:

1. While it is a fantastic tool to view detail on a given site, it is not so
good to assist me in the conversion from CC to CCS.
2. Further, I was more concerned that the functionality should be available
within one tool . I love CC, and have been using it for about a year now, so
this is not dissing the product, but I shouldn't have to use more than one
tool to do my conversions. It becomes too much to keep track of, to use, and
makes the conversion process "klunkier".

I was just hoping,

J.

We'll look into this. There is good possibility that we will create such
tool.

Thanks Konrad.
Even just a dump to a boring old textfile would be good.
Ya know, something I can cut and paste from, and just tweak as needed.
That'd be sweet.
