Does CCS works with the latest mysql 4.0.17 version ?

Yepp, no problems with it - but there may be some problems with the new
features in 4.1... didnt test it yet!

There will not be any problems as far as I can see. CCS does not communicate directly with mysql. It does so through the programming languages and the connections you set up.

hi ,
i was given the task of changing the database from oracle to mysql
so what are the the necessary requirements i should look up so that the transformation happens smmothly and in our project we have used stored procedures so what is the alternative for this in the mysql database hope any one guides me thru this by giving some tips.

there are no stored procedures in mysql, they'll by the 5th version.
If you something that looks like oracle but is opensource, look for
postgresql.
mysql is simple and fast, but has no advanced features.

u'll have to put your stored procedures into your code ...

Hi,

I've been using MySQL 4.0.8 with no problems. I also use PHP 4.3.4 and Apache 1.3.29 and compiled on Solaris with gcc 3.4.0 which is also the latest GNU compiler.

I've not encountered any issues and even have the data replication working across my network at work.
