I have updated the export to csv/excel example to show how to preserve querystring parameters when using the Class to export.
To test and see the results, Search or Sort then press the button
"Export Grid as CSV With Class"

http://www.sylvancomputing.com/ccs/csvexport

The class uses the grid object for exporting.
