hi all
codecharge seem's doen't like the web standart ie the balise <!DOCTYPE> isn't create by codecharge. I tested yesterday my asp pages by w3c validor and w3c does'nt like too the asp'codecharge pages. Does anybody has an idea to generate in all pages the good balise ?
thank

Eric :

I think http://validator.w3.org only validates itself or any of its alliances.

That means it will spit errors on the following sites including your CCS
live pages

http://www.yahoo.com (unable to extract)
http://www.aol.com (unable to extract)
http://www.cnn.com
http://www.sun.com
http://www.google.com
http://www.microsoft.com (which has it's own standard)
http://www.gotocode.com

Heck it even spat error on http://www.macromedia.com ???

I think you should not worry on this validation issue and think instead of generating profit with CCS. W3C thinks it will be a de facto standard but we see it somewhat defies it purpose? If it spat errors on top sites so what? I think if you follow a strict code you follow http://validator.w3.org coding style.

But as for me, I can deeply bury this issue and develop more CCS pages. That's a de facto way of development, deciding to be what's you and what you can do on your own CCS will.
