Login issue with restricted pages

Hi There!
I am facing some issue in setting security. When I create login page and give him return page than its work absolutely fine. But When I want to restrict page by adding group, than by clicking on that page, login page appear and after entering login details, nothing happen. Can Any body guide me how to I can set securty on restrict page which should work fine when I entered login details
