i have reinstalled Codecharge. the issue remains.
I'm in a corporate environment. and its likely something was updated on my workstation.
I'm on windows 10 enterprise.
The query designer window fails to open. I believe it is opening because when i click on the ellipsis the CCS interface is frozen and remains so until i hit escape. Yet there is no window hidden. alt tab shows no designer, cascade windows same.
any thoughts?
Also i try running ccs in compatibility mode, no luck

Well i resolved my own issue. i tried all the usual suggestions for getting those off screen windows to appear. What finally worked was set the display resolution to a low value, try and open the window in my case that worked. then reset the resolution.
hope this helps someone.

Very helpful. Who would of thought that screen resolution would affect things.

Even on CCS5 there are difficulties opening query builder and other dialog boxes. I've often had to try to coax the query designer from wherever it is hiding.
CCS5 isn't wonderful with multiple monitors (or perhaps it's with monitors of different sizes) - combo-boxes often drop down only in the primary monitor.
But it's still a fun product to use.
