I have a system where files can be uploaded to the server. This has been working for several years but every now and again, some of the files do not get to the target folder but are left in it's 'temp' folder. In the form it is possible to select 5 files, each has it's own target and temp folder, and these are uploaded with the Submit button. As an example: say in a month, 1000 files have been uploaded but 60 of these remain in the temp folder.
Any ideas why this is or even a fix?
Thanks.

I don't have a fix either. I am just going to write a CRON that moves any files in 'temp' to the target folders once a day.

Does any part of the form/post handle the files concurrently before processing them individually ?
If so, is it possible the combined sizes are hitting the upload memory or post limit and dropping them ?

Never thought of that Michael but you may be right.
Anyway, I am simply checking and moving them with a cron once a day so guess I will leave it as is.
Interesting though! Thanks.
