Seem to be unable to connect to yes software website.
Unfortunately this seems to stop codecharge studio from starting up, unless I disable internet access when loading ...

It does seem so. When starting it now asks for the activation key but will not accept it if entered. Trying to auto-load it from the site bombs as, as you say, it is down. Going to the site produces "Our site is still under maintenance. Please come back in 2 hours.". We shall see......and hope!!!

You can for the moment, turn off your network connection, start ccs then restart your network connection
