I installed Oracle XE and it works fine via dbForge Studio. I then tried to set the CCS design time connection via ODBC but I get an error using either method (connection string or creating via ODBC admin). The runtime connection is to an external oracle database and works fine, but I would ideally like to make schema changes in XE, test them and then migrate them to the server. I have also tried installing instant client to make a design time connection to the main oracle database, but can't get that to work either...

Has anyone got this working and can explain the settings needed?

I'm using W10 x64 with the latest CCS version.

Soultion is to install instantclient_11_2 basic lite + odbc, create an ODBC source and thenselect in CCS.
Lost a lot of hair this weekend...
