I have an img upload form, I would like to create an error message if the user does not select an image.
In CCS I have set the upload component as a required field but this does nothing, so I set the field in the data base to required field, this now returns.
" Database Error: Column 'msg_img' cannot be null "
I would the message to read some thing like "You forgot the Image" but can not figure out how to use the error control for the form .
Any examples or advise welcome .

Turn off the Required Yes setting. Then, in the Events tab for the
upload control add a Validate Required Minimum Length event and set to
1, along with your custom error message.
