CodeCharge not working in widnows 10. it installs normally enrtetanto when I change a grid classification or listbox CodeCharge closes alone. already opened a tick in support and made q ue informed me without success. Greg said the windows was corrupted and formatted the machine and installed it again without success.
Can someone help me:

It works OK for me on Windows 10, so there is no guarantee that your problem is related to Windows 10.
But some people had problems with Windows 10 and you can simply search for Windows 10 at http://forums.yessoftware.com/search.php

I tried that without success.
I could not get any information doing it you think I should have done ... this forum ta not helping . I continue with probelma and no mesangem forum was able to help me .

let me do a quick resume that always has sucess:
1) Windows 10 Totally Legal not a C. Version?
2) do you have any Ilegal Software installed? (even dont have to do anything with CCS)
3) Virus or Antivirus (Clean computer will be best)
all our team is working in windows 10 without a single issue

work for the government , there is not illegal software. all is our software are legal . formated the machine is not installed anything in be purchased studio CodeCharge and license

already tested it on 3 machines and all formatted and only with eindows 10 and none succeeded .
when we try to change or create a classification of a grid or listbox or even wualquer table CodeCharge closes alone. It can be slgo on windows to Brazil then ...

I use codecahrge from the first and this should make about 10 years . I bought multiple licenses for the organization that work. I have until Artisteer . First time I have problem with my times and I am all committed due to this.

CodeCharge was already , or the support has more quality ... will cancel the approval him in emrpesa and take all compais circulation ...
will approve other sofware , it already was .

Problem is not Codecharge
is the ODBC you are using.
Try using another ODBC as a sample use MySQL odbc, or any other ODBC
Also i will try to do the same you do and see what happened.
(I will let you know today afternoon)

The issue in the video is a known issue in CCS5. I've resorted to using the Order By button in the toolbar.

No Happend to me try same sample in windows 8, Windows 7 and windows 10 not Error
What you see is ODBC error that is giving issue to CCS. (should not so)
but is not CCS

Hi,
Maybe I missed the information about what version of CodeCharge do you try to run on win10.
If 4.3. then I can ensure that it is run with many limitation,
- first of all, the application starts, but you can not create project, because during creation codecharge(CCS) will exit with an error. As a workaround you can copy a previously developed project, open it in CCS then delete all pages and created content, then this project can be a skeleton for further projects. The "ccp" file has to be renamed.
- second you can not change the publishing server, because CCS will exit with error. As a workaround you can open the regedit.exe (registry editor), find CCSentries somewhere here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\YesSoftware\CodeChargeStudio4\PROJECTS, there will be your projects last opened by CCS. Under each project branch you can find an "ActiveProfile" key, then you can change the publishing server, the name of the server is the name what you gave under your project settings in CCS.
- there are many other flaw - like you can not add translation in HTML mode, adding attributes also a problem - but all of them have some workaround
I won't encourage you to stop using CCS :)

Almost the same problem here with CCS5 / win10.
I've tried everything on my new win10 laptop and submitted err logs to yes support - no solution after one year.
Resorted to installing Virtual box with Win7 on this new win10 machine - now everything works better with only 1-2 crashes and freezes per day .
For new projects I'll be using CCS4 / Win7 - so much less headaches...

if ODBC is the reason for these crashes then what can be done to fix the problem?
I have tried all available ODBC drivers 64 and 32 bit ...
Is there another particular version that will fix this?
