Today I just noticed several of my CCS 4.3 apps just stopped working. These are all classic ASP/Access and I have confirmed my web hosts all still support ASP/Access.

I would stress these were working sites up until 3 or 4 days ago!!! Now when I try to log into the admin for these sites I get this,
---------------------------------
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01a8'

Object required: 'DataSource'

/XXXX/YYYY/Admin/Login.asp, line 279
---------------------------------

Anyone around here still using CCS for classic ASP/Access who has had this experience?

If you haven't updated anything on the sites (and possibly overwrote some of the DB or Common.asp) then perhaps the connection setup on the host has broken?

If I recall, many of the ASP/Access hosting required a file DSN setup so maybe an upgrade of the hosting part of things has mucked it up? Can you check if the DSN exist - they might have been done in the hosting admin area (I have that situation in a PHP/MySQL site)

Or maybe some permissions thing changed to no longer allow the ASP to read the Access database (it's been a long time since I dealt with plain ASP)

Cheers

Eric
