I have a button in a column in a grid. Using the before show event on the button I change the value of one of the corresponding columns. If the value matches I make the button visible otherwise it is set to not be visible.
When ever the first occurance in the grid happens that triggers the button to be visible, then all rows show the button from that point on.
I cannot figure out why. I display the values I am check against and they change in each row. Yet the button continues to show.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi - I've used 'Before Show Row' for that kind of thing, instead of 'Before Show' on a button.
That way I'm sure of getting the new row's values each time.
A little painful in ASP.NET but I suspect ASP will be similar to PHP and work well.
