Hi has anybody tried a search form that can search grid 1 and grid 2 at the same time?

Yes, no work is required apart from making sure your search parameter names (e.g. s_keyword) are the same for all grid forms.
The search criteria are presented as URL parameters to the form - e.g. .../myform.asp?s_keyword=Smith. You can create as many grid forms on the page that refer to that parameter.

hi,
Don't know if you solved this, but what I will do is set the number of records for the grid to 1 (or another low number) and then filter on columns relating to the logged in user and the creation date/time being within today's date in descending order.
