So.... Just realized the latest copy of my CC project has been wiped. Backup is available, but not the currently published site. I am going to have to re-create all the new stuff.

It would be nice, to import from a published site. I'm sure CC should be able to fill in most of the blanks.

CCS builds the CCP document to build the rest of the pages (it's an XML file with all the definitions of data, fields, validation, custom code etc) so I suspect it would be possible to extract the custom code bits and fields from a set of published files,

But it's something that would be used very rarely and not ever likely to be added in as a feature. I don't know of any other tool that allows you to extract code from the published versions to rebuild the code.

Looks like you need to do the diffs manually between the files and see what fields have been added etc and add each.
