I see a number of 5.1 updates have been posted.
Can anyone doing .NET development with CCS 5.x comment on the wisdom of using the
latest 5.1 build? Should I load it?

Thanks.

I'm not using the latest as we finally updated a large site in Nov 2013 from CCS 4.3 to CCS 5.1 and I didn't want to test it all again at the moment. I can wait until end of 2014 if I want.

There were some issues but many seemed to be the wonderful changes that simply occur going form ..net 2.0 to 4.0 on the server - assemblies change, options become deprecated etc.

I don't think there is anything specific upgrading within 5.1 versions - usual bunch of testing applies.

Eric

As long as you do not run it in a Windows 8.1 environment, you should be fine.

In Windows 8.1 CC 5.x is just one never ending sad story.
