Hi Folks,
It's been awhile since I fired up CCS (version 3.2.0.6) in Windows 7 (x64).
After creating a brand new project, if I click on any of the builders (grid, record, etc) CCS completely crashes "CodeCharge Studio 3 has stopped working"
Any suggestions? Reinstall? This does not appear browser-related.
I see the following in Window's Event Viewer/Application log:
Faulting application name: CCS.exe, version: 3.2.0.4, time stamp: 0x4709ea5d
Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7601.18247, time stamp: 0x521ea8e7
Exception code: 0xc0000374
Fault offset: 0x000ce753
Faulting process id: 0x16f4
Faulting application start time: 0x01cf140eb587ea86
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeChargeStudio3\CCS.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ntdll.dll
Report Id: 00e50176-8002-11e3-a2da-040cceeb85f7
Thanks for your ideas...

Hi lurch - from the problems that the recent Windows 8.1 changes caused, I think CCS (especially the builders) hook into the IE parts of the OS.
So I suspect the CCS 3.2 (from 2007?) is having some problems with Win 7 overall.
I can't think of a polite way of saying "Time to upgrade CCS?" 8)
Eric

Actually, I looked over old posts and saw that downgrading IE to version 8 fixed this problem, so that's what I did. No worries since I don't use IE for anything anyhow, and now I have a happy CCS!
