What's the difference between the Preview and the Live Page pane. What I mean is this:
In the Preview pane I see all database results I'm looking for in the grid but on the Live Page pane several database results are missing. Can this be explained ?

Preview means your local web pages tied to your design database whereas Live calls the pages on your server bound to your prod database.

Do you use a design database different from live database?
This would explain different results on same query.
