Hi,

I've got a project written in CCS4.3 and would like to open the project in CCS5 since CCS4.3 is not available for download and trial version doesn't allow more than 40 pages.

When I open the software on CCS5, it tries to convert the program and then stalls. Could someone please help me with this as soon as possible.

My current license is a Perpetual CCS V5

Thanks.

I found that going to Win7 SP1 and having lots of memory made all the difference in how V5 worked. The conversion might still have issues, however at least it wasn't stalling out.

I also converted a 4.3 asp.net vb without inmotion project recently to 5.1

my project - about 400 pages took about 90 minutes to complete its task and for the longest time gave no messages. Also seemed to be Not Responding.

I would click on the what seemed like a frozen window and was asked if i wanted to kill the session. I kept hitting cancel.

eventually, it started to give a message for each page

and finally completed the task

I am on win 7, 32bit with 3 gb of Ram

Contact support and see if they will you give you a perpetual licence for 4.3 gratis as you have one for ccs 5.

They mentioned to me sometime ago they could do that, and it is in their interests to preserve customer satisfaction.
