Dear CCS users,
We'd like to notify you that due to some unexpected problems we've faced while working on the fix for Windows 8.1 the CCS update is delayed. Our team is working hard to create the update as soon as possible. And we hope to release it in the near future.
Thank you for your patience!

CCS Team.

Ah, now I see it. Yup, one big problem.... it is not a patch but a new version. For those of us who are having hassles updating systems to ver. 5.1 from 5.0 so have to rely on using 5.0 for current systems..... this is not the answer I was hoping for.

Thanks for the info mor. I must have been looking at a cached page when I tried to find it at first.
Thanks again for the notification.

Just for test I installed latest CCS 4 on my PC with Win 8.1.
All functions works (builders, editors, code generation, publishing). One problem - I can't create new project. But I can to open existent projects. Not bad :)

Hi,

I already opened a request about this problem(28Th October). You're right, there is no problem about editing/publishing/running already created projects.

Best regards.

I installed 5.1.1. 18990 this morning and so far it seems to work. Previously older versions of 5.1 just did not function for me and often CCS 5.1. ran real slow and then just blew up. This one so far working and not slow either.

Will continue to try to use it.

If I run into a problem(s) will advise, but so far looks OK.

I'm getting an error on an includable page with a menu. See the url path has an unprintable character in it. I've opened a ticket with tech support. Going back to the version released in September.

I'm also waiting for a 4.3 patch. I have a huge project, and from what folks here have told me, converting it to 5.* would be a major pain. Hope they have something for us soon.

Best Regards,

Got the latest version today and am Loving it so far on Win 8.1
Created a new project today and its running really well... I too had all sorts of glitches with previous versions but am now falling back in love with CodeCharge.

Converting my old projects over now.... we will see how that goes.

After using the 5.1.1 release for a week and converting 2 larger projects it goes OK.

I notice action SET FOCUS disappeared.

Also trying to set <tr> or <td> attributes not working consistently for me.

I am still get some occasional program failures where CCS just dies. This failure is about as often as my 5.0 experience. It seems like deleting a component is somehow connected, but not able to reproduce on steady basis.

So save your work as you go!

Much better than earlier release of 5.1.1 which would not run at all for me, but could be better too I am hoping next update cleans up the odd issues..
