I am using ccs 5.0 version, but would like to check 5.1 too. So is it possible to use both version simultaneously on the same PC?? what you suggest?

These versions replace one another. At the same time their use will not work.
You can install two versions at the same PC and change paths to Components folder in settings. Or, for example, create two *.bat files, witch will change paths to Components folder and start CCS 5.0/5.1 automatically.

You can install CSS 5.1 in an Oracle Virtual Box. This is what I did when 5.1 first came out.
