I have about 200 pages in a project. My upgrade from 4.x to 5.0 took about 80 hours. That was fixing stuff that the upgrade broke, not implementation of new features.
What should I expect during the upgrade to 5.1? More? Less?
Since I can't have 5.0 and 5.1 installed on the same computer, and I'd really rather not buy an additional license for a temporary need, this upgrade is quite a bit more challenging.

I am getting close to completion of the upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1. I'll be around an average of 0.6 hours per page -- unless I run into more issues.
The CCS update conversion process updated most of the project automatically. The items which needed manual conversion are client side:
- Autocompletes (main page plus service)
- Navigators
- Date gadgets
- Grids with separators.
- Handling of Include Pages
I encountered no issues with PHP code which required manual updates.

Lane,
Thanks for posting this information. I may try it on a smaller project and see how it goes. Keep up us up to date on anything else you run into.

Add one more issue (+) which needs manual intervention:
- Autocompletes (main page plus service)
- Navigators
- Date gadgets
- Grids with separators.
- Handling of Include Pages
+ Handling of table query where * and other field(s) are selected.
