Hi,
I have started to use CCS in Windows 8 and I found the following problem (not sure if it has anything to do, with W8 but that is the only thing that has changed) When I create a new page in an old project and use the gallery builder and come to the step where I should select data soucre/table/fields I normally get a selection of all tables I have in the database, but now I get nothing. I.E nothing to select from. The connection is fine and all other pages using the same connection to tables in the same Mysql database are working fine. It would be great if someone could help me.

Hi,
Many thanks for your reply. It would be great if it solves the problem. I am a beginner and not sure how to perform what your suggest "I installed and activate the addon mydsl 5.08 for wampserver (odbc connector 32 bits don't resolve the problem) " I have been looking to find somewhere to download mysdl, if I do then what? Does anything needs to be done on the server side or can I just install and activate in my end?

Hi,
For Wampserver
Go on the website
Click on the download link
At the bottom of the page, click on "Download mysql addons"
Download the version that you want (it's an .exe)
After the installation, you can select the version you want to use
Click on the tray icon from wamp
Select mysql -> Version and select the one you want to use

Maybe the new release 5.1 - 18696 fix this bug , but when i tested it i can't deploy my project, the ide crashed...

Hi,
I downloaded and installed wampserver but the launch failed "Unable to execute file C:\wamp\wampmanager.exe file not found" I have tried for different msql versions, but the same thing happen for all of them

Which Wampserver version do you think I should install? I have Windows 8, MySQL 5.1.49 and CCS 4.2

Hi,
I have wampserver 2.2 with mysql 5.0.88, php 5.4.3 and apache 2.4.2
I work with CCS 5.0 and CCS5.1
Did you turn of UAC of Windows ?
Did you try to install Wampserver and CodeCharge in administrator modus (it disabled in Windows 8).

For WAMP production environment in Win8 use "Uniform Server". It is simple, fast and portable.
