I would be interested to know where this setting can be changed.
I have an editable grid on HostGator and adding/deleting/modifying records stop working once the grid shows 200 records. If I limit the page size so fewer records are shown everything works as normal. On my development server this does not happen and I can work with well over 1000 records being shown.

Is there a MySQL setting that handles max transactions or something like that? (The editable grid validates every row as we know.)

Put a phpinfo.php file on your host to see what your limits are. In the
php file call the function phpinfo().

It's possible you may be hitting MySQL's max number of connections. For
the connection, make sure you're using Persistent Connection.
