Hello,

Quick ?
I came across an issue in which CodeCharge will not recognize the db connections within my common.asp file. If I open outside of CodeCharge in notepad, it works just fine. As soon as I open the file in CodeCharge, it's as if I made a change and almost all my dbconnections are gone.

Do I need to have odbc connections setup locally?

Thanks.

That's weird. Have you tried re-installing CC5?

That might be half the problem. I'm running CCS 4

But CC4 works fine with DB connections. Why not regenerate the common.asp file.
1. Double click on "common Files".
2. Click on "common.asp".
3. This will open the Common.asp file for edit.
4. Select the entire content of common.asp and delete them
5. Please don't save yet.
6. Right-click on "Common Files" and select regenerate
7. This will regenerate a new common.asp file with the proper connection info
8 Publish the common files again by right-clicking common files and selecting publish
9. Save the project and test
10. If it is a particular page that gives this problem, you can also delete the asp associated with the page and regenerate the page. You can also delete the DB connection for the project and recreate a new connection with the same connection name
