Hi , I am a newbie and I need help on this. I have a text field whose data type is integer. When I input a decimal number into it , it is displayed in the report as a whole number , it rounds it up to the nearest whole number . I have tried changing the format and DB format , all to no avail. How do I solve this problem ?

Did you say you have tried datatype float for the text field and database field?

I used float and it worked. I was using integer as the data type.Thanks very much
