I have a search form with a dropdown with a default value so that when the page is loaded the pertinent data is shown. All of this is within an Update Panel. Changing the dropdown value all works perfectly.

The problem is that when the CLEAR link is clicked, the dropdown reverts to the default value as expected but the data returns everything...... unless you click the search button again.

So, in essence, I want an elegant way to clear the search parameters but have only the default data returned in the grid.

Any ideas?

Did it this way:

Added the search parameter to the Href source of the CLEAR link and left the parameter in the Remove Parameter section.

I like this because it is simple and useful.
This forum needs more info like this.
