 session halted: automatically logout

i have made a site using codecharge. working fine. but after sometime i dont know the time but my site get logout automatically. i dont know why. can anybody had the same issue. kindly help me. or just give me the guideline what can be the issue.

this is because of your hosting. They have shared session directory and empty expired session time to time, so if you have long (depends from the hoster settings) inactivity period then your session died...

you can set automatic page refresh (but this is dangerous if you fill the form and page refresh)

you can manually refresh the page so let the server know you are live...

Buy Dedicated server (or even VPS - I have NO problem with timeout on it!)

Maybe your session limit time is set to lower than the default 180 min in php.ini

@Micheal. Sounds right answer. it was default 24 min. but i've increased to 50 min but not working infact i set it 10 sec. still not working. its like its not even checking the value of session.gc_maxlifetime.

Is there another php.ini somewhere, maybe further up the folder hierarchy?
