Hi all,

these are probably pretty easy questions... but problems i have come across...

1.) once you use FORMS->Link .. and create link. ( it uses like a link builder )

Q.) how do you get the link builder to re-open again to edit the link ? does it only open once ? ( then u have to delete and make again ? )

2.) i created a BUILDER->Grid->page1,
then i created another page BUILDER->Grid->page1_detail

Q.) on page1 i only used a few of the fields to save space, if they want to see more they click MORE ( which goes to page1_detail )
i only passed the ID field. ( i tried passing ALL fields still didn't work )...
but the weird thing is i cant pass from GRID to GRID
i got it to work by using GRID to RECORD and using labels on the RECORD page instead of textboxes...
is it possible to pass GRID to GRID ?

Hi

To modify your link parameters:

Select the link in the IDE
On the data tab select Href Source
Then click the elipse (the 3 dot button on the right)
The builder pane will come up and you can modify the link

To use a Grid as you described:
Build the detail grid
Select The grid in the IDE
On the data tab select Data Source
Again Click the elipse (three dot button on the right)
Query Builder will pop up
Create the where condition to putt up the record with the URL parameter you will be passing the ID in

That should do it

Have fun
8-)

Any Donation would be appreciated..
