I am getting the following error. I have not used PHP before. The design connection string is working fine but I cant seem to get the server connection to work. I am using MS Access (2000-2003) and PHP

Database error: Cannot connect to OLEDB Database: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name too long
OLEDB Error
Session halted.

The PHP DB Library : OLEDB
Database: MSAccess
Database Name or ODBC Connection Name: Data Source=C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Database\AASWEB.mdb;

I have tried using c:..... without success as well.

Urgent help greatly appreciated

Sounds like you do not have your servers database set up correctly.

Try setting your servers database drivers the same as on your designn machine.

Sorry that I cannot help you beyond that. I never use Access as a database and rarely use Windows servers.

:(

Thanks for your help.

The connection screens for design and the server are different and thisis what is the problem for me.

The server connection asks for PHP database library, database and database or connection name.
