In the middle of creating a system I suddenly started getting the following errors:

Warning: Object required | Error Trace: ShowPreview < OnChange <
Warning: Object required | Error Trace: ShowPreview < onclick <

I cannot create anything with the builders at all.

Anyone have this hassle before?

Re-installed CCS 4 times and the problem went away. What a nightmare!

I would really like to know what actually gets corrupted!

And how it gets corrupted and then we can let the Support team know who can advise the developers who might fix it, or might not. I picked up on an interesting "tone" about how the support team view the developers in a support ticket conversation recently. And I thought they were one and the same...

Not sure if this is what the issue is but it sounds like problems I had years ago with CCS.

First CCS seems to behave this way when CCS thinks it has been cracked or not a legal copy.

A problem for me was in the "Phone Home" code when CCS starts if the Yes server failed CCS would start but lose it's license key and all sorts of builder issues would surface.

Although I have never verified this but I think the CCS registry enteries get corrupted.

Perhaps that is the hassle. Only when I used Revo Uninstaller and got rid of over 1,000 registry entries and then re-installed, did it work again.

I had to register again on the site and get a new installer number (using my original Ser# for CCS 5) did it work.

I think you may have a point here even though the About showed the Ser# correctly.

Very strange! btw, I have still not got an answer from my support ticket.

It will still not turn me off CCS as I think it is the best data provider around. Pity it is not so well advertised.
