I have latest version 5 release installed 16254.
Using PHP and MySQL

I have a member master file with member_no, member_last_name and member_first name fields.

I am building page to enter transactions in to transaction file. Will store member_no in transaction; however, I want to let the user select member_last_name and then choose member_first_name depending upon last name chosen.

I am inputting a transaction file. Want the user to choose a last_name, which refers to a member_no as I will store the member_no in the transaction record. Bound column is the member_no sand text column is the member_last_name from the member master file.

The second list box is to display the member_first_name choices depending on the chosen member_last name from the first list box.

Using CCS Dependent List box builder and specify Master list box as the one that supports the member_no (it displays the last names on screen.)

The bound column for the ccs Dependent List Box I specify as member_last_name, text as member_first_name and dependent field as member_last_name.

Result is master box is fine listing all choices; however, slave box is not populated.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help!

Ahhh...now that's cool, I would love some of those extensions... but it doesn't work with CCS 5.1 ?

I have no problems getting these to work in ver 5.
The only think I have to do is once I have configured them, I delete all the common functions and user scripts in the html page and regenerate the page (F8). They work flawlessly.

Delete from and including:
//Include Common JSFunctions @1-D3B5F5BF

to

//End Include User Scripts

Try that.

I gace up on CCT because they never alswer emails or update stuff. A lost cause I am afraid.
