I migrated a project from CCS4 to 5 and for some strange reason i can't connect to the database anymore. I tried to edit the MySQL connection but I keep getting the Data Link Error.

The error I get is

"Test Connection failed because of the provider initialization error.
Format f the initialization string does not conform to the specification starting at index 86."

Any ideas?

Connection works perfectly in CCS4. I also tried to recreate the connection string. ODBC settings work perfect.

I had a similar problem re-installing 4.3 on a new HD. I was using an older version of MySQL, and I had to use the older 3.51 ODBC connector to access the data instead of their latest, greatest connector. Maybe you're having the same issue?

Regards,
