I want to create a editable grid with a button on each row that will update the record if the button is pressed, without a page refresh. I was hoping someone could give suggestions on how to do that in CCS5. I wanted the button to add a timestamp to the record.
Thanks for any advice
Stan

Hi Stan

Have you figured this out yet??

This is actually pretty simple to do but requires more explainaition and examples than is practical to post here.

Let me know and we can figure out hot to communicate the method to use..

You are right, it should be simple but I have not figured it out. I added a Feature, table>field to update and trigger on click but nothing I have been able to figure out for getting to actually write to the record for that row.
If you could write something for the whole forum I bet a lot of people would find it very useful. My direct email is stan @ nevanet .net if you would like to take it off-forum...
If Yes wanted to boost sales with the least work, updating the docs to include more information on how to use some of the newer features that just are not documented
Thank you
