hi All,
Good Day!
am kinda new in this forum but have been using CCS for a bit already. interestingly, i could not find any posts about the above subject matter to refer to well apart from this one http://forums.codecharge.com/posts.php?post_id=110333 by Girish which gave me a blank page when i tried to implement on my end. not sure if i did it correctly though as there was not much to go through with respect to how his script is implemented. anyhow, i was wondering if anyone here could help me out. i also tried this one http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=993...b58bc820e791241 which gives me an sql_query() error due to the object $db being used in both systems CCS and phpBB3.
i am sure that i am not alone in wanting to know about this hence i guess this could be a good starting point to answer similar inquiries unless otherwise there is indeed an active thread already that i have not seen. thanks for the attention and hope to hear from anyone about this... all the best!
pal,
Benjohn

You didn't ask anything! :)
How exactly are you wanting to integrate?

oops sorry i was a bit vague there datadoit thanks for pointing that out. well i guess i was asking about:
1. User profile handling between CCS projects and phpBB3
2. Centralized login/logout between CCS projects and phpBB3
as mentioned above i tried 2 solutions which both gave me challenges. hence resorting back to the community for a hopeful assistance. thanks for the attention... all the best!

Well we know about CCS's usage of session variables such as UserID,
GroupID, and UserLogin. So the easiest way would be to find PHPBB3's
login and logout functions, and add or remove the setting of these
session variables.
The opposite way would be to find the appropriate session variables
PHPBB3 uses, and set those in CCS's CCLogin() and CCLogout() functions
located in Common.php, and use a CCS built login form.

Sorry, have never used PHPBB3. However, nearly all open source PHP
systems function similarly (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, osCommerce,
etc.). It's just a matter of spending time hashing out their logic.
Most usually offer online documentation of such also, since it's a
common practice. Give it a good Googling and see if you can find something.
