How do I display and allow edit - ie. no grid

Tried that.
The table has 1 record added but how do I display that 1 record when the form opens (and allow edit??

I am not following what you want to accomplish... do you just want the record form to open and the user always updates that record only?
If so, set the Where statement on the Visual QUery builder to be Where (ID = 1) Expression or whatever your primary key fieldname is.
