Which Embed for setting FileFolder property of MTFileUpload control

ASP.NET InMotion VB

I need to set the FileFolder property of a FileUpload control in code from an AppSetting in the web.config. I can't seem to figure out which embed I need to do this in. I've tried BeforeShow of both the control and the record but it still can't find the file. Does anyone know which embed I need to use to set this property manually?
