Anyone else experiencing application crashes when attempting to right
click in HTML mode and choosing Insert Translation?

It works OK for me. But the content and complexity of the page in question might be determining factors.
I've had all kinds of issues when editing HTML or design view - though not often crashes.

It is possible the HTML in page is not valid (i.e. contains not closed tags etc.)
From our experience this the main reason for crashes.
Take the HTML and validate it - try check that every tag that should have a closing tag has a closing tag and tags are nested in the correct way

I agree that could have been the problem. However, I've verified the
HTML crashes on brand new pages.

Does your project was converted from an older version of CCS ?
Although the page is new, it is possible that the HTML has a problem.
If the problem is re produce the problem contact support - they helped me in that past many times.

The same thing happens to me.
But if I insert by hand a translation string say: {res:new_comment_added}
and right click edit translation, it works.
Windows 7
8 Gb memory

Anyone else experience these crashes with CCS5 / Windows 7? Does this happen with CCS5 / XP too?

Same issue im having when try to insert translation on win7 ultimate.
As "hidran" mentioned also works for me.
Thou it becomes a bit annoying.
The crash report mentions that the KaliGridU.dll crashed.
I've submitted a ticket support, lets cross fingers and see what happens.
