Hi,
It is rather complex to explain it in a short way.
You have a table for users. (index, full name, class, etc)
You have tables for each subject (user index, user degree, school year, etc.)
In your query join two tables USER -> SUBJECT left join on user index, Order it on user deegre then order it username.
Than you get a grid where best user on the top, worst on the bottom and equal users are in alphebetical order.

Soles,
Did u mean I should have a table for each subject being offered in the school? They have about 30 to 35 subjects or more being offered in the school. What i want to achieve is to display the position of a student in each subject being offered by the student on his/her report card.
Please expatiate.
